For those who cannot travel, there will be an alternative Mobile Farmers Market coming to the neighborhood on Thursday Afternoons.

Real Food Farms

Real Food Farms
(A project of Civic Works)

Has agreed to test us as a Market Stop. They will be here Thursdays from 3:45 to 4:15 pm at the Ellerslie Apartments (Wyanoke and Old York Road).

Real Food Farm grows healthy, pesticide-free food on 6 acres of land in Clifton Park using environmentally sustainable methods. We improve food access in Northeast Baltimore by using a Mobile Market to sell fresh fruit and vegetables and offering a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Real Food Farm also provides field trips, summer programs, and internships for students and farming training opportunities for adults. Since 2009, Real Food Farm has grown over 60,000 lbs of food and educated over 3,000 people.
